Washing color fastness testing is essential in assessing textile color durability. Therefore, a washing fastness tester is crucial for this process. The WashTrue Washing Fastness Tester enables efficient evaluation of a textile's washing color fastness.

The WashTrue tester is compatible with various color fastness standards, allowing users to select testing methods like AATCC, ISO, and others. The screen conveniently displays the relevant parameters based on the chosen standard, such as ISO 105 C06:2010, AATCC61-2013e3, GB/T 12490-2014, M&S C4A, AATCC190-2010e2 (2016) e2, NEXT TM 02, etc.

Features of Washing Fastness Tester:

The smart screen interface offers direct access to a range of functions, including selecting test standards, customizing test parameters, temperature calibration, choosing the temperature increase rate, setting time, and adjusting heating temperature. This makes fabric color fastness testing exceptionally convenient.

The tester ensures precise temperature control for more reliable washing fastness results. Its smart temperature control algorithm allows for accurate regulation of water temperature during testing.

The device features a comprehensive safety design, with the rotating test frame equipped with an anti-jamming function to protect the equipment. Solid-state relay-controlled electric heating enhances temperature stability and extends the machine's service life.

Constructed with SUS304 stainless steel, the water tank is both durable and corrosion-resistant. The tester’s design parameters meet ISO, BS, AATCC, JIS, and SDC standards, ensuring wide applicability.

Both the tester’s main housing and test cups are made from stainless steel, providing resistance to high temperatures, acids, and alkalis. For added safety, a door safety switch prevents burns or injuries during operation.

Additional features include a built-in time counter, digital temperature controller, and automatic temperature and time control, with an alarm alert at the test’s conclusion. The cup configuration can also be customized to meet specific customer requirements.

Test Principle for Washing Color Fastness:

Textile samples, sewn together with one or two pieces of standard lining fabric, are placed into a stainless steel cup along with steel balls, soap, or a mixture of soap and anhydrous sodium carbonate. The stainless steel cup then rotates to create mechanical agitation for a specified time and at a controlled temperature. Once the test is complete, the samples are washed and dried.

Using the original sample as a reference, the discoloration of the textile and any staining on the lining fabric are evaluated with gray scale cards or instruments. This method also allows for testing perspiration color fastness on textiles.
