Instrument Description:

This tester is suitable for testing the flammability of various textile materials.

Applicable to the determination of the vertical flame spread properties of single-component or multi-component (coating, quilting, multi-layer, sandwich products and similar combinations) garments, curtain draperies and textiles for large tents including pergolas and door covers;

It is suitable for burning time determination of textile fabrics with fluff (such as pile, loop, tufted or similar surfaces) on the surface;

Applicable to the test of the flammability in the vertical direction of fabrics of various types of single layer or multi-layer (such as coating, quilting, interlayer and similar combination);

Test results can only be used to assess the flammability of materials or combinations of materials under laboratory controlled conditions. The test results are not applicable to the occasions where the oxygen supply is insufficient or the heating time is too long in the fire. ;

Working principle:

Install the finished sample or material sample on the corresponding fixture of the instrument, burn the sample with the required flame for a certain period of time, and record the relevant data (such as burning time, burning rate) to evaluate its burning performance.
